This unit deals with all the veterinary drugs, vaccines and equipment of the hospital. This unit is divided into Pharmacy, Equipment and Pharmacovigilance sections.
Pharmacy Section
The Pharmacy section will be responsible for providing safe drugs, non-drugs and vaccines whenever they are required.
Equipment Section
This section will be responsible for maintaining records of all the veterinary equipment at the hospital.
Pharmacovigilance Section
NVH is the Pharmacovigilance center for veterinary drugs and is thereby mandated to promote understanding and education of benefit, effectiveness and risks of these drugs. This section deals with any issues related to use of veterinary drugs and vaccines in the animals in order to improve their health care and safety.
